UrVenue Wins GGB Tech Award for Sportsbook Seat Booking Tool

Las Vegas – September 29, 2026 -- UrVenue has won the 2027 Global Gaming Business Gaming & Technology Award for Best Consumer Service Technology, recognizing its Venue Management Software that converts hotel and casino amenities into bookable, revenue-generating inventory. The award will be presented during Global Gaming Expo (G2E), running Sept. 28 through Oct. 1 at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.

Golden Nugget Lake Charles uses the platform to let guests reserve premium sportsbook seating

The award submission centered on a deployment at Golden Nugget Lake Charles, where UrVenue's technology allows guests to reserve preferred sportsbook seats ahead of major games while giving the property centralized control over inventory allocation. Joseph Florentino, Vice President of Marketing at Golden Nugget Lake Charles, said the platform simplifies guest reservations while giving staff flexibility to manage inventory and raise the value of premium seating offerings.

UrVenue targets a broader category of underused resort inventory beyond gaming floors

The company argues that resort amenities -- including cabanas, dayclubs, nightclubs, lounges, dining, and entertainment venues -- represent high-value inventory that has historically been difficult for guests to discover and for operators to merchandise. UrVenue's software gives operators visibility into availability, capacity, and pricing across these categories, aiming to replicate the sportsbook seating model across other premium experiences.

Independent gaming executives selected UrVenue among GGB award winners spanning multiple gaming segments

The GGB Gaming & Technology Awards cover land-based gaming, iGaming, sports betting, operations, and customer experience technology, with winners chosen by a panel of gaming industry executives. Tracee Nalewak, Chief Growth Officer at UrVenue, said the recognition validates a model built around a live deployment rather than theoretical capability, framing the sportsbook seating tool as evidence that operators can unlock additional revenue from existing physical assets without new construction.
