Allen, Texas – September 07, 2026 -- Elsight has secured a Basic Ordering Agreement with the US Army for its Halo connectivity technology, deepening its ties with the branch following its recent addition to the DCMA Blue UAS Cleared List.
Halo connects uncrewed systems across 500,000 operational hours
The technology enables beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations across air, land, and maritime domains by bonding cellular, satellite, and RF communications into a single resilient layer that automatically selects the optimal path. Elsight reports the system has logged over 500,000 operational hours across more than 100 customers, with active deployments in high-intensity combat environments and multiple conflict front lines globally.
Agreement follows Blue UAS listing and expands Army procurement access
Elsight CEO Yoav Amitai said the Basic Ordering Agreement expands the company's path to rapid military procurement for US Army units. The company's Halo platform has also been showcased at events for the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) and US Special Operations Command (SOCOM).
Elsight expands manufacturing in the US and Germany to meet defense demand
The company recently announced plans to expand global manufacturing capacity in both countries, addressing government demand for localized and resilient supply chains. Elsight said NATO-aligned defense forces and US government agencies are increasingly adopting its technology, with multiple programs expected to move from pilot and evaluation phases into production-level procurement.
