Verapath, GenTrust Launch VIRA to Unify Wealth Management Stack

New York – September 19, 2026 -- Verapath and GenTrust have formed a joint venture and launched VIRA, an AI-native wealth management platform designed to replace the patchwork of CRM, portfolio accounting, performance reporting, rebalancing and tax-loss harvesting tools that registered investment advisors (RIAs) currently run in parallel.

VIRA merges five separate wealth-stack functions into a single system of record

Advisory firms typically operate a CRM, portfolio accounting system, performance reporting tool, rebalancer, tax-loss harvesting engine and data warehouse as disconnected point solutions, each with its own data model and vendor relationship. VIRA consolidates these into one platform, eliminating duplicated data entry and the manual reconciliation work that currently absorbs operations staff.

GenTrust has run its own advisory business on VIRA's predecessor for a decade

GenTrust, a multi-family office managing nearly $6 billion in assets across New York, Miami and Puerto Rico, built and tested the platform internally before the joint venture with Verapath. "We are humbled to introduce VIRA to the world: the first AI-native, all-in-one wealthtech platform built inside an advisory firm for the way advisors actually work," said Jim Besaw, CIO of GenTrust.

Verapath brings AI governance and regulatory compliance infrastructure to the platform

Verapath, founded in 2023 and built by Artificial Intelligence Risk, Inc., supplies the security, governance and compliance layer for banks, wealth and asset advisors, and credit unions. Alec Crawford, CEO of Verapath, said the platform is built for every role at an RIA, not just financial advisors, and is intended to improve both client and advisor experience.

VIRA is now generally available to RIAs and wealth management firms

The platform is live and firms can request a demonstration through virawealth.ai. GenTrust extends its investment capabilities to single family offices, independent RIAs and other institutions through its CIO Partnership, positioning VIRA for distribution beyond GenTrust's own client base.
