London – September 11, 2026 -- Vertice launched Ana, an autonomous AI negotiation agent for enterprise software procurement, after the system completed more than 4,000 live negotiations worth $500 million in spend, delivering average savings of 18% and cutting renewal cycles by 15 days.
Ana targets the software contracts procurement teams have no time to review
Vertice data shows one in seven software contracts auto-renews without oversight, rising to three in four contracts within tail spend, where vendor price uplifts and compliance changes typically go unchallenged. Ana runs unlimited simultaneous negotiations across a company's entire software stack, building scenario-specific strategies, modelling likely outcomes and drafting vendor correspondence in the customer's own voice.
The agent operates autonomously or as a copilot for procurement teams
Customers can prioritize price, payment terms or contract length, and adjust tone or requirements mid-negotiation. Vertice says a negotiation can begin within minutes of a short intake, with no implementation delay and no cap on contract value.
Ana is trained on 250,000+ negotiated contracts and $75 billion in spend data
The system draws on Vertice's procurement intelligence dataset, spanning more than 2 million price points across 32,000+ SaaS vendors. Vertice states no other negotiation agent has been trained on comparable real-world indirect procurement data.
Documented outcomes include a 31.2% saving on a LinkedIn Sales Navigator renewal
In one case, Ana closed a LinkedIn Sales Navigator renewal 31.2% below list price in 27 days. When a vendor pushed for a 20% licence-count increase at renewal, Ana used usage data to prove consumption was falling, closing the deal 11.8% below the prior year's spend. A separate negotiation used competitive intelligence on rival vendor pricing to secure a 21.3% reduction. Ana also automatically enforced a customer's data protection policy on a new vendor, requiring subprocessor transparency and SOC 2 Type II certification evidence.
Vertice frames the launch against a shift toward AI-intermediated B2B buying
Gartner forecasts that by 2028, 90% of B2B buying will be intermediated by AI agents. Eldar Tuvey, Founder and CEO of Vertice, said most procurement teams can only oversee a fraction of their software spend, with Ana bringing "market evidence, probabilistic outcome modelling, and the pattern recognition of hundreds of thousands of expert negotiations to every contract."
Ana is accessible through Vertice's procurement platform and includes real-time benchmarking against Vertice's dataset, vendor-specific negotiation tactics, Monte Carlo-based outcome forecasting updated with every exchange, mid-negotiation steering, and a full searchable audit trail of strategy and dialogue.
