Los Angeles – October 07, 2026 -- Vesta Home has appointed Michael Brown, a 15-year veteran of RH, as Chief Creative Officer to lead its luxury furnishings and interior design business.
Brown exits RH after serving as Senior Vice President for RH Interior Design
Brown joins Vesta Home following more than 15 years at RH, where he most recently held the role of Senior Vice President for RH Interior Design. At RH, he helped launch several interior design initiatives, including embedded design offices and ateliers, the company's first standalone RH Interior Design studio in Palm Desert, and Bespoke RH Interior Design, a full-service residential architecture and design offering operated independently from RH galleries.
New hire will develop furniture collections and scale design division
As Chief Creative Officer, Brown will develop Vesta Home furniture collections and lead the expansion of the company's luxury interior design division, working alongside CEO Julian Buckner and the firm's leadership and design teams. Before RH, Brown co-founded Los Angeles-based design-build firm Custom Lime, designing and renovating residences and creating custom furniture for high-net-worth and celebrity clients.
"He understands that great interior design starts with how someone wants to live, and that the furniture, materials, art and objects all have to be in harmony to tell that story," said Buckner.
Vesta Home staged 5.2 million square feet of real estate valued at $13.7 billion in 2025
The appointment comes as Vesta Home expands beyond its staging roots into a broader luxury design and furnishing platform. The company completes approximately 2,500 projects annually across New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Palm Beach, San Francisco, the Hamptons and other major luxury markets. In 2025, Vesta Home staged more than 5.2 million square feet of real estate, representing approximately $13.7 billion in transactions.
Its portfolio includes multimillion-dollar estates, celebrity homes and significant properties such as the $149 million penthouse at Central Park Tower. Vesta Home's platform now spans staging, full-service interior design, custom furniture manufacturing, furniture sales and turnkey furnishing.
