Vicenza – September 07, 2026 -- Vicenzaoro opens its anniversary edition on September 4, gathering roughly 1,300 exhibitors from 38 countries and buyers from more than 130 countries through September 8, as organizer Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) unveils a new €60 million exhibition hall and folds its jewellery-technology fair T.Gold directly into the main event.
New 23,000-square-meter hall anchors a €60 million site upgrade
The centerpiece of the expansion is Hall 2, a two-story, 23,000-square-meter building designed by GMP and financed as part of IEG's €60 million investment in the Vicenza fairground. The added infrastructure increases capacity and connectivity across the venue, backing IEG's push to position Vicenzaoro as a leading global trade platform for the jewellery supply chain.
T.Gold technology fair moves into Vicenzaoro's Hall 4 twice yearly
Starting with this edition, T.Gold will run inside the Vicenzaoro fairground in Hall 4 twice a year, in January and September, rather than as a standalone event. The technology showcase will bring additive manufacturing, automation, sustainability solutions and precious-material recovery systems closer to the brands and manufacturers exhibiting at the main fair.
IEG executive frames the merger as a strategic pivot for the industry
Matteo Farsura, Global Exhibition Manager Jewellery & Fashion at IEG, said the edition marks a milestone that extends beyond the fair itself, arguing that bringing technology into the show twice a year and linking the full jewellery value chain strengthens Vicenzaoro's role as a global trade and knowledge platform where innovation, manufacturing, products and international markets converge.
Jewellery Boutique Show format expands to cover the full supply chain
The T.Gold integration reinforces Vicenzaoro's existing "Jewellery Boutique Show" model, which groups specialized trade segments — technology, manufacturing, finished jewellery, gemstones, components, watches and packaging — within a single exhibition ecosystem rather than separate fairs.
CIBJO marks its centenary with a 400-delegate congress in Vicenza
The September edition also hosts the CIBJO Congress marking the 100th anniversary of the World Jewellery Confederation, drawing roughly 400 industry leaders from around the world to Vicenza and reaffirming the city's standing in the international gold and jewellery trade.
