VT Markets Names Ross Maxwell Chief Strategy Officer

Sydney – September 07, 2026 -- VT Markets, a multi-asset broker operating in more than 160 countries, has appointed Ross Maxwell as Chief Strategy Officer to oversee platform development, international expansion and corporate governance.

Maxwell moves from global strategy and operations role

Maxwell previously served as Global Head of Strategy and Operations at VT Markets, where he led market analysis and training programs. In his new role, he will set strategic direction across platform innovation, international expansion and trading frameworks, drawing on his background in macroeconomic analysis, operational development and market infrastructure.

VT Markets shifts from execution-only broker to unified multi-asset platform

The appointment coincides with VT Markets' push beyond trade execution toward a unified multi-asset platform designed to let users identify market opportunities, access multiple asset classes and execute trades within a single technology ecosystem linking digital assets with traditional financial markets.

New CSO to prioritize AI-driven financial education for retail investors

Maxwell will also lead financial education initiatives built on artificial intelligence, aimed at closing knowledge gaps among retail investors while building institutional-grade multi-asset capabilities. "The next era of trading will not only be defined by access to more asset classes, but by how easily users can identify and act on opportunities within a seamless, technology-driven ecosystem," Maxwell said, adding that VT Markets aims to deliver high-performance infrastructure and transparent execution as global financial markets converge.

VT Markets currently offers clients access to more than 1,000 financial instruments through its mobile trading application.
