XCMG Staff Festival Draws 5.3 Million Global Viewers, Showcases Cranes

Xuzhou – September 21, 2026 -- XCMG's 11th Staff Arts Festival drew more than 3,000 employees on September 19 and reached a global audience exceeding 5.3 million through more than 50 media outlets and social platforms, with overseas views topping 400,000.

Construction machinery becomes the stage itself

The event was staged against the world's first 14,000-ton ring crane. XCMG crawler and wheeled cranes jointly hoisted a large screen, while dozens of aerial work platforms and cranes installed lighting and sound systems, integrating the company's equipment directly into the production rather than using it as static display.

Employee performances anchor a three-decade tradition

Under the theme "Charming XCMG, Everyone Shines," the festival unfolded across three segments -- "Charming XCMG People," "Now Is the Time to Pursue Our Dreams" and "A Journey in Song" -- depicting frontline workers' careers through music and dance. The festival traces back to a 1992 staff performance and has grown alongside XCMG's expansion into the world's third-largest construction machinery manufacturer.

Chairman frames the event as a talent platform

Yang Dongsheng, chairman of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery, said the festival serves as both an artistic showcase and a cultural celebration for employees, framing the theme as recognition of workforce dedication and innovation.

Drone show and brand exhibits close the program

The festival closed with a 2,000-drone light show comprising 12 scenes, alongside a food market, XCMG-branded merchandise and interactive technology exhibits, combining industrial branding with public entertainment.
