YeePay Wins Dutch EMI License to Expand European Payments Reach

Amsterdam – October 13, 2026 -- YeePay has been granted an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license by De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), the Dutch central bank, giving the cross-border payments provider a second European EMI authorization after its existing UK license.

Dutch license adds to a multi-jurisdiction regulatory portfolio

The Netherlands is a major financial hub within the European Union. YeePay said the approval strengthens its regulatory footprint and supports compliant, localized payment services for businesses operating across international markets, subject to applicable regulatory requirements.

The company's existing licenses and registrations include:

  • A Money Service Operator (MSO) license in Hong Kong
  • Hong Kong SFC licenses for Type 1, 4 and 9 regulated activities
  • US Money Services Business (MSB) registration
  • Registration as a Money Transmitter (Transmisor de Dinero) in Mexico
  • EMI licenses in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands
YeePay targets local accounts and FX with a Netherlands hub

Terry, Senior Vice President of YeePay, called the DNB license "a key milestone" in the company's European strategy. He said the Dutch hub and the UK license will anchor a stronger local presence and regulated service capabilities in Europe.

YeePay plans to combine local regulatory capabilities and financial infrastructure with its global network. The goal is to expand global collection and payout, local account and multi-currency FX services. The company says this will cut transaction costs and improve cross-border fund flows for international clients.

Network spans 200 countries and 100+ currencies

YeePay's services cover more than 200 countries and regions, with real-time FX across 100+ currencies. The company said it will deepen partnerships with financial institutions worldwide. Its one-stop offering covers global collections, global payouts, FX services and global accounts, delivered through relevant entities and partners and subject to applicable regulatory requirements.
