YFORE Starts First US-Made Digital Car Key in Georgia

SUWANEE, Georgia – September 03, 2026 -- YFORE Technology rolled out its first US-manufactured digital car key at its Suwanee, Georgia plant, marking the launch of localized mass production for the North American market. The Tier-1 automotive electronics supplier, which works with more than 30 automakers globally, said the system meets global alliance standards for OEMs through a vehicle-cloud-device architecture.

YFORE combines BLE, UWB and NFC into a single access platform

The company's multiprotocol approach targets a range of mobility use cases, from passive vehicle entry to smart-device integration, positioning the platform as a bridge between vehicles, cloud services and connected devices.

New system delivers centimeter-level ranging to counter relay attacks

The next-generation digital key uses Bluetooth 6.0 Channel Sounding alongside UWB technology, combining Phase-Based Ranging and Round-Trip Time methods to achieve bidirectional spatial precision in the centimeter range. The system operates independently of cellular networks, addressing relay-attack vulnerabilities that have plagued earlier passive entry systems. YFORE said the technology extends stable radio range by up to 30% over conventional systems.

The passive entry system activates at 10 meters upon approach, unlocks passively at 2 meters, and automatically locks the vehicle when the driver departs beyond 6 meters. YFORE also reuses vehicle-side UWB anchors to enable software-driven upgrades for additional radar functions, including child-presence detection, occupant sensing, UWB kick-sensing and a low-power guard mode.

Product line spans ceramic, leather and glass key fobs alongside NFC modules

YFORE showcased smart key fobs built from ceramic, leather, glass and matte-finish materials, alongside a modular NFC package supporting NFC-enabled smartphones, wearables and key cards. The NFC system is designed for flexible integration into B-pillars, exterior mirrors and door handles equipped with capacitive touch sensors.

The Suwanee milestone establishes a near-shore manufacturing footprint for YFORE to supply global OEMs, adding to the company's existing operations across North America, Europe and Asia.
