Beijing – October 13, 2026 -- Yiren Digital Ltd. (NYSE: YRD) has appointed Na Mei, its former Chief Financial Officer, as Acting Chief Executive Officer, effective October 13, 2026, one day after the company announced a development concerning its chief executive.

Board installs Mei to maintain management continuity

The board of directors made the appointment to support continuity in management and operations. Mei will oversee day-to-day operations and work with the existing management team under board oversight.

The company has not stated in this announcement how long the acting arrangement will last. It has also not named a permanent successor.

Mei served as Yiren CFO for almost four years until August 2024

Mei held the CFO role from September 2020 to August 2024. Before joining Yiren Digital, she spent more than a decade at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Her background spans financial management, auditing, taxation, internal controls and consulting for companies listed on stock exchanges in China and overseas. She holds a bachelor's degree from Capital University of Economics and Business and is a certified public accountant.

Leadership change coincides with AI strategy push

Yiren Digital describes itself as a financial technology and artificial intelligence company operating across multiple industries in China and global markets. It has filed its in-house developed large language model, Zhiyu, with regulators and has significantly enhanced its MagiCube Agent platform.

The company says these steps are meant to build a new growth engine and speed its evolution into an AI-native, multi-industry operating platform that extends beyond traditional financial services.
