Shanghai – September 24, 2026 -- ZPMC has signed purchasing agreements worth more than $2.6 billion at current exchange rates across eight consecutive appearances at the China International Import Expo (CIIE), the company disclosed at an industry outreach event held on September 22.
ZPMC gathers state-owned giants and global suppliers ahead of ninth CIIE edition
Delegates from Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), China Mobile, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Bank of China (BOC), and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) attended the Shanghai event. Representatives from ZPMC, Sinopec Honeywell (Tianjin) Limited, Austria-based WFL Millturn Technologies GmbH & Co. KG, and Omron Automation (China) delivered remarks and exchanged views on trade cooperation.
Nearly 30 exhibitors join matchmaking sessions on port machinery and smart ports
The event centered on ZPMC's core business lines in port machinery, offshore equipment, steel structures, and smart port technology. Nearly 30 CIIE exhibitors and ZPMC partners took part, including several Fortune Global 500 companies. ZPMC's headquarters and nine affiliated units participated directly in the matchmaking program, which paired thematic discussions with site visits.
CIIE Bureau briefs professional buyers on expo services
The China International Import Expo Bureau presented an overview of the services it offers to professional buyers attending the expo. ZPMC has attended every edition of CIIE since the expo's launch, and the company will return for the ninth edition in November, seeking to expand trade volume and business partnerships with overseas suppliers.
