New York – September 28, 2026 -- Bank of America has launched Payments Insights, a new CashPro capability giving corporate and commercial clients AI-driven analytics on payment efficiency, cross-border flows and working-capital performance across U.S. accounts.
CashPro processed 213 million payments in the first half of 2026, up 10% year over year
The volume growth underscores the scale treasury teams now manage, with Bank of America framing even incremental efficiency gains as materially impactful at that transaction level. Payments Insights joins CashPro Data Intelligence, the bank's AI-powered suite that already includes Capital Markets Insights, Mobile Security Insights, CashPro Forecasting and CashPro Search.
Proprietary peer benchmarking lets treasury teams compare payment performance against industry standards
The tool uses dynamic visualizations to help finance teams identify inefficiencies in payment methods, currency usage and cross-border transactions. Laura Fox, Director of Treasury for Allegis Group and a member of the U.S. CashPro Board, said Payments Insights gives her team greater visibility to make more informed, strategic decisions. The capability was built with direct input from CashPro Board members across client segments and regions.
Capital Markets Insights moves online next month after its 2025 app debut
Bank of America confirmed that Capital Markets Insights, first launched through the CashPro app in 2025, will become available via the online platform next month. In 2027, Security Insights will expand globally to all CashPro program administrators, analyzing company, user and account-level settings to generate security scores and fraud-mitigation recommendations.
