Waconia, Minnesota – October 01, 2026 -- Cabinetworks Group, the largest privately owned cabinet manufacturer in the U.S., has opened its third free on-site health clinic in two years at its Waconia, Minnesota manufacturing plant and office.
Clinic offers zero-cost care to team members, spouses and dependents
The 1,500-square-foot facility includes three exam rooms and a laboratory, mirroring sister clinics already operating in Middlefield, Ohio and Independence, Oregon. The clinic is staffed by board-certified medical professionals from Medcor, providing primary care, wellness exams, treatment of minor injuries, chronic condition monitoring for blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol, vaccinations including flu, Tdap and Hepatitis A, rapid testing for strep, flu and COVID, and blood draws.
CEO Jeff Jackson ties workforce health investment to productivity and retention
"Access to health care shouldn't be complicated, expensive or time-consuming," said Jeff Jackson, CEO of Cabinetworks Group, noting that the zero-cost model reduces the financial burden on team members while supporting workforce stability in the region.
Ribbon-cutting draws company leadership and Waconia's mayor
A ribbon-cutting ceremony held on September 30 included remarks from Cabinetworks Group Chief People Officer Debbie LaPinska and Waconia Mayor Tim Litfin, alongside executive leadership, team members, community leaders, and Medcor clinicians. Attendees toured the new clinic following the event.
Clinic expansion adds to broader benefits package across 20 locations
Cabinetworks Group, which employs more than 5,000 team members across 20 locations including 16 manufacturing facilities and 11 brands such as KraftMaid, Medallion, Merillat and Smart Cabinetry, also offers bonus programs, 401(k) matching, child and elder care financial assistance, an employee assistance program, enhanced maternity leave, adoption assistance, scholarship programs for employees' children, and enhanced tuition reimbursement.
