RoomOS 27 adds native Google Meet support, launching in November

The update also introduces a Cisco AI Assistant for meeting rooms capable of operating in 32 languages and taking physical actions—such as adjusting room temperature or lowering blinds in response to spoken prompts. A new Cisco Ceiling Speaker Pro connects via a single Ethernet cable, replacing multi-vendor audio setups in meeting spaces.
Dialog agentic harness targets continuous customer relationships over isolated interactions
Cisco introduced Dialog, an agentic harness for the Webex AI Agent platform designed to keep AI agents working on a customer's behalf after a conversation ends, coordinating across people, agents and backend systems until an issue is resolved. The system maintains persistent customer context across channels and time, refines agent performance from every interaction, and can be onboarded using existing employee handbooks and operating procedures. All Webex AI Agents run under Cisco AI Defense safety guardrails, with telemetry and observability powered by Splunk.
"The next era of work isn't about bolting chatbots onto yesterday's tools," said Jeetu Patel, President and Chief Product Officer at Cisco. "It's about AI agents working alongside people and teams, being deeply embedded in their workspaces, and collaborating on a secure, trusted foundation."
