Global – October 17, 2026 -- Coalition says its Wirespeed platform cuts alert noise by 99.99% before any alert reaches a customer queue, replacing analyst-driven managed detection and response (MDR) with automated verdicts and containment in milliseconds.
Coalition acquired Wirespeed to address a bottleneck it attributes to legacy MDR: human analyst capacity. Adding headcount widens the alert queue and raises prices for customers without speeding up response, the company argues. Forrester Research recognized Coalition in its report The Managed Detection And Response Services Landscape, Q3 2026.
Wirespeed reports a 0.000067% critical defect rate under ISO 2859 sampling
Wirespeed runs a deterministic-first pipeline from telemetry to detection, automated investigation, verdict and response. Human experts supervise through statistical sampling under Acceptable Quality Limits (ISO 2859) instead of approving each case. Coalition says this method lets it measure the defect rate rather than assert it. Actions run only within guardrails the customer has pre-authorized, and each decision step is logged for later audit. Investigation is unmetered, with no consumption pricing or AI token costs.
Managed SIEM offering ships with 85+ integrations and syncs existing rules
Wirespeed includes a built-in SIEM, managed detection rules and the option to write custom rules in natural language. For customers on major SIEM platforms, it syncs their detection rules and uses AI to map them to its own taxonomy, so alerts that fire trigger full investigations.
OT/IoT handling relies on asset data from Entra, Axonius and Sandfly
Wirespeed pulls asset tags from Entra, EDR, attack surface and vulnerability management tools such as Axonius. It contains threats on IT systems and escalates OT and IoT assets to in-house experts. It also integrates with agentless detection product Sandfly for critical OT systems where installing agents poses a business risk.
Binary Edge acquisition feeds exposure management and remediation
Coalition acquired Binary Edge to make attack surface management part of its insurance underwriting and policyholder support. Its Active Data Graph combines its own scanning engine with global incident intelligence to rank which exposures are most likely to cause a material breach. The same service is offered for supplier risk management. Wirespeed executes remediation through response actions approved in advance and keeps a record for review.
