Apollo Athenaa Treats 30,000 Women, Marks 1,000+ Cancer Surgeries in Year One

New Delhi – September 19, 2026 -- Apollo Athenaa Women's Cancer Centre has treated more than 30,000 women from over 110 cities and performed 1,000-plus cancer surgeries in its first year of operation, marking its anniversary as Asia's first dedicated cancer centre for women.
Centre completes 4,000+ chemotherapy cycles and 100+ reconstruction procedures in year one
Apollo Athenaa's clinical volumes in its debut year include over 4,000 chemotherapy cycles, more than 100 plastic and breast reconstruction procedures, and 120-plus VABB (vacuum-assisted breast biopsy) procedures. The centre built an integrated care model spanning breast and gynaecological oncology, reconstruction, medical and precision oncology, diagnostics and rehabilitation.
