Georgia Power and Google strike $900 million nuclear capacity deal
Georgia Power and Google reached an agreement projected to deliver approximately $900 million in customer benefits while expanding nuclear generation in Georgia. Pending approval from the Georgia Public Service Commission, Google will support uprates at the utility's Plant Vogtle and Plant Hatch nuclear units, adding roughly 96 megawatts of new grid capacity.
