F-Secure, AMD Silo AI Build Trust Routing for Agentic AI Journeys
Helsinki – September 12, 2026 -- F-Secure and AMD Silo AI have jointly developed a routing technology that decides, per piece of data, whether AI processing happens on-device or in the cloud, aiming to secure consumer digital journeys as autonomous AI agents take over tasks like shopping and payments. The upcoming F-Secure TrustPath solution, built on this approach, is scheduled to enter beta in the fourth quarter of 2026 and reach production in 2027.
Consumer trust in AI has collapsed to single digits
F-Secure research cited in the announcement found that 84% of consumers worry AI makes it impossible to distinguish what is real online, while 44% are wary of using AI itself. Only 17% of consumers currently say they are ready to let AI act on their behalf, a gap the companies frame as a commercial risk for brands deploying agentic AI.
