NetAlly Launches LinkRunner 100G Tester at $8,999 for Enterprise Fiber

Colorado Springs, Colo. – September 12, 2026 -- NetAlly has launched LinkRunner 100G, a handheld diagnostic tool priced at $8,999 plus an AllyCare Pro subscription, designed to troubleshoot 100G fiber links now spreading from data centers into enterprise networks.

NetAlly targets a gap left by telco-grade testing tools

CEO Jeff O'Mara said existing tools for validating high-speed fiber links have been expensive and specialized for large telecom providers, leaving enterprise IT teams without an accessible option as 25G, 40G, 50G, and 100G networks become more common. Unlike twisted-pair copper networks up to 10G, which benefit from IEEE-standardized auto-negotiation for speed, power, and polarity, no equivalent automation exists for 100G networks, producing brittle, hard-coded configurations. Proprietary transceivers that modify encodings and bit rates to boost fiber efficiency add further complexity for technicians.
