LinkRunner 100G runs a full diagnostic with one button press and requires no specialized fiber training. Its QSFP Insights feature identifies transceiver type, fiber type, speed, and Forward Error Correction (FEC) settings to catch configuration mismatches that can leave a QSFP28 port down even when the hardware is functioning. The EZ Wired app validates link speed, FEC, interfaces, network services, application connectivity, and transceiver operation, giving technicians the exact parameter set needed for a fix.
Path Analysis and FEC monitoring flag failures before outages occur
Path Analysis traces the network route hop by hop from the tester to its destination, revealing when slowdowns originate elsewhere, such as an overloaded switch several hops away, rather than at the tested link. Because FEC can mask a degrading connection while the network keeps operating, AutoTest is built to detect failures before they affect users and logs the data in Link-Live, NetAlly's reporting platform. A Performance Test function lets technicians confirm that newly deployed infrastructure delivers the throughput specified in contracts.
