Sunnyvale – September 30, 2026 -- Synopsys projects fiscal 2027 revenue of $11.15 billion at the midpoint of guidance, a roughly 15% year-over-year increase, the company told investors at its 2026 Investor Day in New York.

The chip-design software maker also plans to repurchase approximately $1 billion of its own shares over the coming months, part of a broader commitment to return up to 50% of free cash flow to shareholders after reinvesting in the business.

Synopsys said its certified flows now span implementation through signoff on TSMC's A14 node, including a new device routing enablement milestone for analog place-and-route automation. The companies frame the milestone as critical to speeding customer adoption of advanced process technology for AI and HPC applications.
