Geneva – – September 28, 2026 -- Verisure has signed an exclusive partnership with US-based Ting Labs to commercialize an electrical fire prevention sensor across its European customer base, targeting a market where electrical faults cause 273,000 fires and €6.25 billion in property damage annually in the EU.

Ting Labs makes its first move into Europe after protecting 1.4 million U.S. homes

The deal marks Ting Labs' initial expansion outside North America, where its plug-in sensor already monitors more than 1.4 million homes and works with 40 insurance carriers. The device analyses 30 million electrical signals per second from a single outlet to detect arcing, an early warning sign of faults that can trigger fires, and pairs the data with expert support to resolve hazards before ignition.
