Fremont – September 19, 2026 -- Delta Electronics announced a system-level infrastructure approach to accelerate deployment of AI factories built on the NVIDIA DSX AI Factory Platform, integrating power delivery from onsite energy sources down to the chip level to raise token output per megawatt.
Delta's 800 VDC architecture cuts conversion stages and hits 98% power efficiency
The company's 800 VDC power architecture reduces conversion stages between facility power and compute, delivering up to 98% power conversion efficiency while responding to GPU load transients. High-density In-Row systems can deliver up to 800 kW in a single power rack. At the board level, Delta's 800 VDC DC-DC distribution technology steps down directly to 50 VDC or 12 VDC with peak efficiency reaching 98.5%.
Liquid cooling portfolio scales to 3 MW per distribution unit
Delta's thermal management lineup includes 2.4 MW and 3 MW liquid-to-liquid cooling distribution units, In-Rack cooling, and thermal solutions built for next-generation AI racks. The company coordinates electrical and thermal infrastructure across facility, row, rack and component levels to align power flow with heat removal for high-density GPU workloads.
Prefabricated modular data center blocks integrate 800 VDC power and 3 MW cooling
Delta's Prefabricated AI Modular Data Center Solution bundles 800 VDC In-Row Power and 3 MW of liquid-cooling capacity into infrastructure blocks assembled and tested in the factory. Moving integration and validation offsite reduces onsite complexity, streamlines commissioning, and supports phased capacity expansion as demand grows.
Delta and NVIDIA executives frame power-cooling-compute as a single engineering problem
Austin Tseng, President of Delta Electronics Americas, said AI factory economics depend on engineering power quality, GPU load transients and heat together all the way into the rack. Vladimir Troy, vice president of AI infrastructure at NVIDIA, said Delta's expertise in 800 VDC power delivery and liquid cooling will help customers deploy AI factories based on NVIDIA DSX faster and extract more AI performance per megawatt.
At the facility level, Delta integrates energy storage systems, solid-state transformers and medium-voltage infrastructure to store, convert and distribute power for high-density AI workloads, closing integration gaps between facility and IT infrastructure for NVIDIA DSX-based deployments.
