New York – October 02, 2026 -- The Inner Circle has named Miklos Toth, M.D., a Life Achiever 2026 for more than 35 years of contributions to obstetrics and gynecology, recognizing both his clinical research and humanitarian medical work in Uganda.

Dr. Toth and his wife, Elena Toth, established the Millennium Health Foundation and the Miklos and Elena Toth Health Center, located roughly 400 kilometers northeast of Kampala. The center delivers general obstetrics and gynecology services, with a focus on infectious disease management and 3-D Doppler ultrasound screening, operating on the first Saturday of each month and extending on-site screening to neighboring parishes. The foundation's first community initiative, Elena's Boutique, opened in July 2012 as a women's clothing shop supporting local economic independence.
His research output includes 16 peer-reviewed articles on infection and pregnancy complications
Dr. Toth's work has informed new approaches to understanding infection-related pregnancy complications and ovarian cancer screening, documented across 16 peer-reviewed articles and six book chapters. He earned his first Doctor of Medicine degree in Hungary in 1959 and a second M.D. from Cornell University in 1981. He has served as an attending physician at Lenox Hospital and as an Assistant Professor at Hofstra University, where he participated in medical school admissions evaluations. He holds memberships in the American Medical Association, the New York Academy of Medicine, and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for his humanitarian work.
Dr. Toth completed Harvard's AI in Healthcare program in late 2025, finishing in the top 10 percent
Dr. Toth completed the Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare program at Harvard Medical School in October and November 2025, graduating in the top 10 percent of his class. He intends to apply the training to ongoing research into silent pelvic infections, aiming to refine diagnostic approaches in women's healthcare.
