Ericsson's buyback program targets up to SEK 15 billion through March 2027
The repurchase activity forms part of a program Ericsson announced on April 16, 2026, running from April 23, 2026, through March 31, 2027 at the latest. The initiative is structured under the EU's Market Abuse Regulation (No 596/2014) and the accompanying Safe Harbour Regulation (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052 of March 8, 2016), ensuring the transactions comply with European market conduct rules.

Ericsson's capital structure now comprises 3,371,351,735 shares in total, split between 261,755,983 Class A shares and 3,109,595,752 Class B shares. The company's Board of Directors intends to propose to the 2027 Annual General Meeting that the repurchased shares be cancelled, with the exception of those retained to fulfil obligations under Ericsson's share-related incentive programs.
