Ericsson's Treasury Stock Hits 108.5 Million Shares After Buyback Week

Stockholm – September 28, 2026 -- Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson repurchased Class B shares on Nasdaq Stockholm during the week of September 21-25, 2026, lifting its total treasury stock holding to 108,518,663 Class B shares.

Ericsson advances SEK 15 billion buyback program launched in April 2026

The latest repurchases form part of Ericsson's share buyback program of up to SEK 15,000,000,000, announced on April 16, 2026. The program runs from April 23, 2026, through March 31, 2027, at the latest, and is being executed on Ericsson's behalf by Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE.

Board plans to propose cancellation of repurchased shares at 2027 AGM

Ericsson's Board of Directors intends to propose to the 2027 Annual General Meeting that the repurchased shares be cancelled, with the exception of those retained to fulfil obligations under the company's share-related incentive programs.

Total share count stands at 3.37 billion across two classes

Following the September 21-25 transactions, Ericsson has a total of 3,371,351,735 shares outstanding, comprising 261,755,983 Class A shares and 3,109,595,752 Class B shares. The buyback program is being carried out in compliance with EU Regulation No 596/2014 on market abuse (MAR) and the related Safe Harbour Regulation, Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052.
