Little Ferry, N.J. – October 16, 2026 -- Eventide Communications has completed an independent SOC 2 Type 1 examination covering the security and availability of its cloud-based mission-critical recording and analytics solutions, giving public safety buyers third-party evidence of its controls.
A-LIGN audits cloud environment against Security and Availability criteria
The examination was performed by A-LIGN, a cybersecurity compliance and audit firm. It evaluated controls against the Security and Availability Trust Services Criteria and included an assessment of relevant HIPAA/HITECH safeguards.
The scope covers Eventide's broader cloud environment and the controls supporting its cloud-based solutions. These include Critical Insights AI™ and the cloud-hosted and virtualized NexLog® DX-Series recording solutions.
Attestation targets vendor due diligence at public safety agencies
Agencies that move communications, recordings and operational data into hosted environments must meet strict security expectations. According to the company, SOC 2 gives security, IT and procurement teams independent information about the controls behind those services and can serve as a component of vendor due diligence.
Brad Basile, Eventide's chief operating officer, said the examination gives customers additional independent assurance when they evaluate the company's cloud offerings.
Cloud stack spans AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform
Eventide's supporting cloud environment incorporates applicable services from AWS and AWS GovCloud, Microsoft Azure and Azure AI, and Google Cloud Platform. This supports cloud and hybrid deployment models across its product portfolio.
Critical Insights AI provides automated QA/QM, transcription and search, analytics, and operational intelligence. NexLog DX-Series solutions support mission-critical recording across hardware, virtualized and cloud-hosted deployment models.
The attestation is a Type 1 examination. The source does not mention a Type 2 report.
