Madrid – September 24, 2026 -- Fruit Attraction 2026 will gather more than 2,500 exhibiting companies across 162,000 square metres of exhibition space in Madrid from October 6 to 8, drawing 121,000 trade professionals from over 150 countries for its 18th edition.
Middle East buyers gain direct access to global fresh produce suppliers
The event, organized by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, will give importers, distributors and industry operators from the Middle East a dedicated channel to connect with producers and suppliers from Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia. The United Arab Emirates will attend as a Guest Importing Country alongside China, formalizing trade links with two markets that organizers describe as increasingly central to global fresh produce flows.
International Buyers Program to deliver 700 senior purchasing decision-makers
Developed with Spain's Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, ICEX Spain Trade and Investment and FEPEX, the program will bring 700 major buyers, importers, distributors and purchasing decision-makers from more than 50 countries to the show floor, generating thousands of business meetings over the three-day event.
New exhibiting nations expand the show's sourcing map
Fourteen new exhibiting countries will join the 2026 edition, including Armenia, Australia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Ireland, the British Virgin Islands, Japan, Latvia, Malaysia, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Tanzania, Tunisia and Turkmenistan. Spain, one of the world's largest fruit and vegetable exporters, retains a central presence at the event.
Innovation and sustainability programming accompanies the trade agenda
The Innovation Hub Awards, specialized congresses and industry forums will run alongside the commercial program, bringing together international experts to address trends and challenges shaping the fresh produce sector's near-term trajectory.
