New York – September 18, 2026 -- Genpact (NYSE: G) has won the Best Services Eating Software category at the inaugural 2026 HFS Services-as-Software Awards, beating out more than 250 global submissions for its Agentic Operations model now running mission-critical workflows across finance, procurement, insurance, and banking for Fortune 100 clients.
HFS Research scored entries on five criteria before naming Genpact the winner
HFS Research analysts evaluated submissions on AI-driven delivery, agentic adaptability, outcome orientation, scalable architecture, and proven enterprise success. Genpact's Agentic Operations model pairs AI agents handling transaction volume with human staff validating outcomes, a structure the company says is already deployed in production, not pilot, environments.
Accounts payable deployment shows measurable operational gains
In accounts payable, where the model first launched, touchless processing rose from 26% to more than 80% of transactions. Invoice accuracy climbed from 70% to over 95%, while first-pass three-way match rates increased from 78% to above 90%. First-touch resolution of supplier inquiries moved from zero to more than 95%.
Model has expanded beyond accounts payable into four additional workflow categories
Genpact has extended Agentic Operations from accounts payable into record-to-report, procurement, insurance policy administration, and banking analyst workflows, according to the company.
HFS Research CEO says the submission demonstrates a shift from labor to software-defined delivery
"Genpact's submission stood out because it brings Services-as-Software from concept to production reality," said Phil Fersht, CEO and Chief Analyst, HFS Research, adding that the company's Agentic AP Suite and broader portfolio show how embedded AI agents combined with human oversight can move service delivery from labor-centric execution to software-defined, outcome-based operations at scale.
