Former Meta Platforms counsel brings decade of network infrastructure experience
Schlichtmann-Prince joins after nearly ten years as in-house counsel at Meta Platforms, Inc., where she advised on network infrastructure investments and strategic initiatives supporting the company's global digital infrastructure platform. She previously held legal and business roles at Verizon Communications, Cable & Wireless Communications, and Sprint, bringing more than 15 years of combined private practice, in-house, and business operations experience.
Practice will focus on data center connectivity, subsea fiber, and cross-border deployments
Her practice covers network infrastructure investments and complex commercial transactions involving digital infrastructure assets, advising investors, developers, and operators on data center connectivity, colocation, terrestrial and subsea fiber networks, telecommunications infrastructure, and cross-border deployments. She will operate as a shareholder in the firm's Corporate Practice, collaborating with attorneys in Digital Infrastructure, Real Estate, Environmental, Energy & Natural Resources, Construction Law, and Government Law & Policy.
Firm cites growing private equity and infrastructure fund interest in the sector
Digital Infrastructure Group Co-Chair Joshua B. Forman said Greenberg Traurig maintains one of the largest data-center-focused legal teams in the United States, spanning commercial agreements, leasing, mergers and acquisitions, financing, development, and regulatory work. Schlichtmann-Prince said she sees a growing opportunity to advise clients as private equity firms and infrastructure funds increase capital deployment into digital infrastructure assets.
Washington office continues hiring spree across regulatory and national security practices
The addition follows recent hires in the D.C. office including D.C. Metropolitan Real Estate Practice Chair Joseph W. Creech, former Deputy Under Secretary at the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security Joe Bartlett, and former FAA Assistant Administrator Christopher J. Senn. Earlier this year, the office added a six-member government affairs and national security team led by Shareholders Christopher DeLacy, Daniel Sennott, and Joel E. Roberson.
Schlichtmann-Prince holds a J.D. with Honors from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center and a B.A. cum laude from Barry University. She is admitted to the bar in the District of Columbia and Florida.
