Hotel Nikko San Francisco Deploys SONIFI Interactive TV Platform

San Francisco – September 22, 2026 -- Hotel Nikko San Francisco has partnered with guest technology provider SONIFI to install a new in-room interactive TV system across the Union Square property, deepening the hotel's push toward integrated luxury tech.

SONIFI's casting technology removes need for extra in-room hardware

The system embeds SONIFI's patented casting solution directly into guest room TVs, giving access to more than 5,000 streaming apps without additional devices. The platform also delivers international programming, premium sports packages, and still-in-theater and early-release movies on demand.

Custom branding highlights hotel's dining and wellness amenities

The interactive interface is customized to reflect Hotel Nikko's Japanese-inspired aesthetic and promotes on-site venues including Feinstein's at the Nikko, Restaurant Anzu, and Kanpai Sushi Lounge, alongside 24-hour wellness facilities, private sauna and steam rooms, and a glass-enclosed indoor pool.

Hotel Nikko GM frames deployment as guest-experience upgrade

"Our guests expect a seamless blend of luxury, comfort and innovation throughout their stay," said Casey Neuburger, General Manager of Hotel Nikko San Francisco, adding that the platform's intuitive technology reflects the property's elevated hospitality standard.

SONIFI CEO Ahmad Ouri said the company aims to set a new benchmark for in-room technology at the property, citing Hotel Nikko's blend of contemporary sophistication and bespoke service. SONIFI operates guest technology across more than 1.1 million rooms in 5,400 properties globally, spanning Wi-Fi, interactive TV, streaming, and telephony services.
