iLOQ Launches Global Campaign With Kimi and Robin Räikkönen

Oulu, Finland – September 25, 2026 -- iLOQ, the Finnish smart access technology company that reported €150 million in turnover in 2025, has launched a new global brand campaign featuring Formula 1 World Champion Kimi Räikkönen and his son Robin Räikkönen.

Campaign extends a multi-year sponsorship from Kimi to the next generation of the Räikkönen family

Titled "The Next Generation Is Coming," the campaign builds on iLOQ's longstanding partnership with Kimi Räikkönen, now extended to Robin as he develops his own career in karting. Kimi Räikkönen retired from Formula 1 in 2021 after a career spanning more than two decades and now supports Robin as a mechanic, describing his role as offering options rather than instructions during Robin's development on the track.

iLOQ frames the campaign around access beyond the physical lock, tying it to company values

Heikki Hiltunen, iLOQ Board Member and former CEO, said the company has worked with Kimi Räikkönen for years because he embodies values that have shaped iLOQ, including integrity and perseverance. Hiltunen said supporting Robin represents a natural next chapter for the brand, extending the concept of access to opportunities created for the next generation rather than only physical entry points.

Rollout spans digital out-of-home, social media, print and a four-part interview series

The campaign centers on a cinematic hero film showing Kimi and Robin Räikkönen together on the racetrack, supported by photography, digital and out-of-home advertising, and a four-part interview series with Kimi Räikkönen covering his transition from racing to mentoring, his approach to developing young talent, and family life around the sport. The campaign will run across iLOQ's key global markets through digital channels, industry events and partner communications.

Company operates in more than 55 countries with over 1,800 partner locations

iLOQ, which employs more than 310 people, positions the campaign as a continuation of its broader history of sports partnerships rather than a retrospective on Kimi Räikkönen's Formula 1 career. The company's battery-free digital locking and mobile access solutions form the commercial backbone referenced throughout the campaign's messaging on access and opportunity.
