IQVIA Standardizes on Four Veeva Clinical Apps Across Its Studies

Research Triangle Park – October 13, 2026 -- IQVIA has selected four Veeva applications (CTMS, eTMF, Study Startup and Site Connect) as enterprise standards for its clinical development studies, extending a partnership that previously covered Veeva's EDC.

IQVIA and Veeva widen the clinical technology tie-up beyond EDC

IQVIA (NYSE: IQV) and Veeva Systems (NYSE: VEEV) announced the expansion on Oct. 13, 2026. The companies say the combined offering is intended to raise trial speed and efficiency, strengthen site centricity and improve decision-making.

All Veeva clinical solutions are also available through IQVIA for sponsors that want a full Veeva technology stack.

Sponsors keep the choice of EDC, RTSM and eCOA tools

Richard Staub, president of Research and Development Solutions at IQVIA, said customers can still choose the EDC, RTSM and eCOA technologies that best fit their needs, including IQVIA's own. He described the aim as a more connected way of working built on integration of the two companies' technologies.

Veeva founder and CEO Peter Gassner said the company is committed to "seamless product and services integration." He framed the move as an expansion of the partnership announced last year.

Veeva to discuss the partnership at Boston summit on Oct. 20-21

Veeva will hold its R&D and Quality Summit in Boston on October 20-21, where it is directing attendees to learn more about the partnership.
