Reston, Va. – September 19, 2026 -- The U.S. Department of the Navy has awarded Leidos $926 million for the second option year of its Next Generation Enterprise Network Service Management, Integration and Transport contract, correcting an earlier figure of $875 million issued in a prior release.

Under the award, Leidos will continue managing more than 425,000 devices across over 2,500 sites worldwide, supporting user access, IT operations and transformation activities on the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), the Outside the Continental United States Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-Net) and the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN).
Automation cuts network patching times by up to 94% since 2020
Leidos has held the contract since 2020 and reports that automation tools now deliver device patches 93% faster while accelerating enterprise-wide patching by 94%, reducing vulnerability windows and potential network disruptions for military and civilian personnel.

Award aligns with Leidos' NorthStar 2030 digital modernization strategy
The company positions the contract renewal within its broader NorthStar 2030 strategy, which prioritizes digital modernization, cyber capabilities and mission software development for government clients. DJ LeGoff, a retired Navy captain who leads Leidos' Navy and Marine Corps portfolio, said the results reflect the team's continuous effort to keep technology functioning reliably in the background of military operations.
