Lufkin – September 13, 2026 -- Lemon Seed Marketing will host its seventh annual Lemon Seed Conference, themed "Into the Wilderness," on March 3-6, 2027, at Timber Creek Church's Lufkin, Texas campus.
Event combines two days of education with three days of networking for home service leaders
The conference targets home service business owners and leaders, offering sessions on finance and operations, leadership and team building, and community engagement alongside a vendor expo. Crystal Williams, co-owner and lead strategist at Lemon Seed, said the "wilderness" theme reflects how independent home service owners navigate a competitive marketing landscape.
Schedule pairs curriculum with local business and networking experiences
Activities kick off Wednesday, March 3, with an optional tour of McWilliams Heating, Cooling & Plumbing and a Zoo Brew Opening Party at Lufkin's Ellen Trout Zoo. Thursday, March 4, closes educational sessions and the vendor expo with a business cocktail mixer, "A Night at the Museum," at the Naranjo Museum of Natural History.
Friday, March 5, continues learning sessions and the expo, followed by Lemon Seed's Greatest Raffle Ticket Giveaway and a Swag Party at Real Graphics, a 15,000-square-foot local advertising and promotional design and production facility. The event concludes Saturday, March 6, with a farewell breakfast and open house at Lemon Seed's Lufkin headquarters.
Agency traces roots to a 1974 family-owned HVAC and plumbing business
Lemon Seed was founded in 2019 by Williams, whose family has operated McWilliams Heating, Cooling & Plumbing since 1974. Williams co-owns Lemon Seed with branding director Emily Fleniken, who said the agency curates its curriculum annually to position the conference as a leading marketing event for the home service sector.
