Singapore – October 08, 2026 -- ONLYOFFICE has released version 10.0 of its open-source office suite, bundling context-aware AI tools, four new modular applications, and fixes for 35 security vulnerabilities. The autumn update packages roughly 50 new features and more than 1,000 bug fixes across the online, desktop, and mobile editors.
AI tools move directly into document, spreadsheet, and PDF editors
A dedicated AI tab with built-in chat now lets users draft, summarize, translate, and format content without exporting files to third-party tools. Legal teams can summarize contracts inside the editor, analysts can generate forecasts or Pivot Tables, and managers can convert raw notes into structured presentations using ready-made prompts and saved custom actions.
Organizations retain control over model selection. Cloud users can activate AI via OpenRouter, while server-based deployments can connect any model, including local ones, keeping sensitive data inside internal infrastructure.
Four free modular apps extend ONLYOFFICE Docs under AGPL v3
The release introduces AI Agents, Forms, Files, and Rooms as standalone modules. AI Agents automates workspace tasks using MCP servers for search and extended reasoning. Forms handles data collection and response analysis, Files centralizes document storage with access controls, and Rooms enables secure collaboration including Virtual Data Rooms for confidential material. The apps are enabled by default in the cloud and installable on servers via a single command.
PDF and document editors gain metadata removal, real-time cursor tracking
The PDF Editor now supports metadata removal, customizable annotations, automatic table recognition, and reusable signatures. In the Document Editor, co-authors can follow each other's cursor in real time, a new "Keep with next" function preserves content grouping, and right-to-left language support has been improved. Spreadsheets run faster with optimized functions and formula hints, while presentations gain new view modes, extended print settings, and GIF or video export for slides.
New file support includes .ofd format compatibility, spreadsheet export to .xls, SVG-to-editable-shape conversion, and Data Tables for charts. The redesigned Plugin Manager adds Antidote, Curly, and a new Salesforce plugin.
Security patch addresses 35 vulnerabilities amid rising AI-driven threats
ONLYOFFICE 10.0 fixes 35 security vulnerabilities, a patch volume the company frames as necessary protection for organizations handling sensitive data as AI-related threats continue to evolve.
Desktop and mobile apps add Odoo integration, voice input, Grok and DeepSeek support
The Desktop Editors receive a refreshed homepage, redesigned Templates and Clouds sections, Odoo integration, and visual updates for Linux. In the free Desktop Community edition, AI tools are available as an optional add-on. The free iOS and Android apps add an AI assistant with new provider options including Grok and DeepSeek, AI AutoFill for forms, and voice input for mobile work.
