Phoenix – September 28, 2026 -- Paze will replace PayPal as the Official Jersey Patch Partner of the Phoenix Suns starting with the 2026-27 NBA season, under a multi-year deal announced by the team and Early Warning Services, LLC, the Arizona-based company behind Paze and Zelle.
Paze logo takes upper-left jersey position previously held by PayPal
The Paze logo will appear on the upper left side of all Suns uniforms once the new season tips off. Suns and Phoenix Mercury CEO Josh Bartelstein said the patch process was competitive, with Early Warning selected for its Arizona roots and payments history spanning Zelle to Paze.
Deal extends beyond the jersey into checkout and ticketing
Paze becomes the Suns' Official Online Checkout Partner, Official Digital Wallet, and entitlement partner for the team's season ticket membership program. Paze is an online checkout tool offered through participating banks and credit unions, letting consumers use existing eligible debit and credit cards without sharing actual card numbers with merchants at checkout. More than 220 million credit and debit cards have been added to the Paze wallet to date.
Early Warning employs over 900 people in Arizona, nearly 250 in New York
Early Warning has operated in Arizona for nearly four decades and supports numerous Arizona-based banks and credit unions through its broader product portfolio. In New York, where the company employs close to 250 people, Early Warning is the first Founding Partner of Etihad Park, the planned home of New York City FC anchoring the Willets Point redevelopment in Queens -- a project expected to generate $6.1 billion in economic activity over 30 years and deliver 2,500 affordable homes.
Suns become second NBA team to carry Paze on uniforms
The Suns join the Atlanta Hawks as the only two NBA franchises featuring Paze on team jerseys. Serge Elkiner, general manager of Paze, said the partnership marks a visibility milestone for the brand as it expands beyond its Arizona base.
