Blomberg – October 12, 2026 -- Phoenix Contact will make all of its products available in a CRA-ready format by the regulatory deadline, the company said ahead of SPS 2026, which runs November 24-26, 2026, in Nuremberg, Germany.
The company will exhibit in Hall 9, Booth 310, with a focus on industrial AI, PLCnext Technology, cybersecurity, and field and control cabinet automation.
Conveyor demo runs on the full control cabinet and field portfolio
The booth's central exhibit is a conveyor belt application that moves water bottles on workpiece carriers so they can be filled with water immediately. The line is automated with Phoenix Contact's entire product portfolio for control cabinet and field installations. At field level, new products include power supplies, device protection, and motor starters with IO-Link interfaces.
PLCnext platform adds virtual control and security routers
The technology section centers on the open PLCnext Technology automation platform. Virtual PLCnext Control is a software-based option for operators that want to decouple automation functions from hardware. It can run on existing industrial PCs, edge devices, and server infrastructure.
Security routers are designed to protect machines and systems in line with the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the Machinery Regulation.
Industrial AI spans planning, operation, and maintenance
Phoenix Contact integrates industrial AI across the value chain. Planning and commissioning run through the PLCnext Engineer engineering tool, operation through the MLnext software package, and maintenance through diagnostic capabilities via the MCP interface.
Control cabinet building offered as a single end-to-end process
Phoenix Contact is also pitching a holistic approach to control cabinet building, with support from engineering through final assembly. The offer links engineering, procurement, assembly, marking, wire preparation, and wiring into one process, with the aim of streamlining workflows and optimizing interfaces.
Guided tours and stage program include live hacking demonstration
The company will run guided tours of the booth covering selected technologies, practical applications, and future concepts. The stage program covers AI, virtualization, cybersecurity with a live hacking demonstration, Power Reliability, and Push-X technology.
