Adaptive Kinetics

Ponderay, Idaho – September 28, 2026 -- Patriot Dynamic Systems (PDS) has launched Adaptive Kinetics, a bolt-on active suspension system for three-quarter-ton through Class 5 heavy-duty trucks that eliminates the leaf-spring ride without cutting, welding, or modifying the vehicle frame.

System delivers 20-plus inches of travel and 44 inches of articulation

Adaptive Kinetics self-levels to 33 degrees and adjusts ride height from stock to 16 inches of lift, controlled from the cab. Loaded, it runs a progressive rate like a leaf spring to resist squat and sway under tow or haul weight; unloaded, it switches to a linear coilover-style rate. The active system reads road conditions at 1,000 Hz, with automatic sway control and speed-based height adjustment.
