Ituran Wins NIS 21M Israeli Transport Ministry Data Contract

(Nasdaq: ITRN) has secured a contract worth over NIS 21 million (approximately $7 million) from entities under Israel's Ministry of Transport to supply a Software-as-a-Service traffic monitoring solution, with the first year guaranteed at NIS 5 million (approximately $1.7 million).
Ituran's Big Data platform tracks over one million vehicles across Israel
The contract runs for up to four years and relies on Ituran's proprietary Big Data platform, which analyzes anonymized data from more than one million vehicles -- roughly a quarter of all registered vehicles in Israel. The platform delivers macro-level traffic and driver behavior insights that Ministry-affiliated entities will use to shape national road policy and future infrastructure investment.
