Bridgestone Named Official Tire of SCCA in Three-Year Deal
Nashville, Tenn. – September 24, 2026 -- Bridgestone Americas has signed a three-year agreement with the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), becoming the organization's Official Tire and the sole tire supplier for the SCCA Club Spec program.
Potenza RE-71RZ becomes spec tire across Club Spec classes
Bridgestone's Potenza RE-71RZ, a 200TW summer performance tire built for grassroots racing, will equip Solo Spec Coupe, Club Spec MX-5 and Club Spec Mustang classes. The tire will also serve as the official spec tire for the new Club Spec Cayman class set to launch in 2027.
Bridgestone Potenza tires dominated 2026 SCCA Solo season
Across the 2026 SCCA Solo season, Bridgestone Potenza tires captured 75% of class wins (more than 350) and 70% of class podiums, along with top index honors at 21 of 24 national events. The tires accounted for 70% of eligible entries among more than 3,300 competitors during the season.
