PulsePoint Launches DTC Explorer to Speed Up Pharma Audience Building

New York – September 22, 2026 -- PulsePoint has launched DTC Explorer, a self-service workspace that lets pharma marketers build and publish clinically-informed consumer audiences in hours instead of the longer timelines previously required for custom segment creation.

New tool cuts audience-building time by connecting clinical claims data to consumer targeting

DTC Explorer draws on PulsePoint's proprietary Bespoke Audiences, which are built from de-identified diagnosis, drug, and treatment claims. Users can filter by consumer demographics, clinical signals, prescribed drugs, insurance provider, geography, or NPI list, reviewing real-time aggregate device and consumer counts as they refine selections before publishing directly to the PulsePoint platform for activation.

Published audiences refresh automatically as new claims data arrives

The tool eliminates manual rebuilds by syncing targeting with current clinical signals as new data enters the system, removing a step that previously required repeated manual updates to keep segments aligned with the latest prescribing and treatment activity.

Executive says the launch changes speed and control for health marketers

"What DTC Explorer changes is the speed and control," said Ezra Suveyke, Chief Product and Technology Officer at PulsePoint. "Teams can now iterate on their audience the same day, test different segments side by side, and align their DTC strategy in real time to what is happening in the physician engagement layer."

Launch builds on PulsePoint's HCP2DTC Influence capability released earlier this year

DTC Explorer completes the upstream half of PulsePoint's HCP2DTC workflow, following the earlier release of HCP2DTC Influence, which optimizes DTC campaign delivery based on physician prescribing habits and brand engagement signals. A built-in HCP2DTC crosswalk filter lets marketers anchor consumer audience creation to HCP targeting strategy, starting from an NPI list, prescriber specialty, or patient diagnosis profile to model a corresponding DTC audience from the same clinical data foundation.

Agentic platform Hatch will let marketers build audiences through natural-language requests

PulsePoint plans to extend DTC Explorer's functionality through Hatch, its agentic AI platform, allowing marketers to describe a target audience in plain language while Hatch constructs, refines, and publishes the Bespoke Audience on their behalf.
