Abu Dhabi – September 13, 2026 -- Robo.ai Inc. (Nasdaq: AIIO) said its industrial group Alif Holding plans to establish Alif Maritec, a wholly owned subsidiary dedicated to marine security and intelligent maritime infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates.
Alif Holding designates Dr. Jasem Al-Mansory as chairman of new maritime unit
Dr. Jasem Al-Mansory, Chief Executive Officer of Alif Holding, is expected to serve as Chairman of Alif Maritec once it is formally established. The subsidiary will target four business areas: maritime protection, smart ports, underwater intelligence and critical infrastructure protection, serving governments and infrastructure operators managing ports, coastlines and offshore energy assets.
New unit will build underwater barriers, port defenses and monitoring platforms
Alif Maritec's technology stack rests on four pillars -- AI and analytics, advanced sensing, marine materials and digital twin -- to support underwater barrier systems, port and coastal protection systems, and an integrated monitoring platform. The company plans to integrate and manufacture its technology inside the UAE to international standards, initially serving GCC markets before expanding internationally.
The push is tied to rising seaborne trade volumes, growing offshore energy investment and tightening safety standards for ports and waterways. The plan aligns with the UAE's "We the UAE 2031" vision and the "Make it in the Emirates" localization initiative.
Robo.ai posts $46.7 million H1 net profit after restructuring, discontinued operations
At the group level, Robo.ai reported net profit attributable to shareholders of $46.7 million for the first half of 2026, reversing a net loss in the prior-year period, driven primarily by gains from discontinued operations following its divestiture of legacy business lines. The company had earlier acquired Neurovia AI and Quantum Core Capital and formed Alif Holding, creating a four-platform structure built around intelligent infrastructure.
From June 1 to August 31, 2026, Robo.ai generated more than $180 million in preliminary, unaudited total revenue, which the company said reflects the initial operating contribution of its repositioned business. The figures have not been reviewed by its independent auditor and are subject to adjustment.
"The proposed establishment of Alif Maritec marks the next step in expanding our business footprint and advancing Alif Holding's 'Building Intelligent Industries' strategy,
