Contract lengthens TGS streamer backlog into early 2027
CEO Kristian Johansen said the award extends the company's streamer acquisition backlog well into the first quarter of 2027. He described it as a reflection of continued demand for high-quality seismic data supporting offshore exploration activity.
TGS will pair the vessel's capacity with its proprietary GeoStreamer technology. Johansen said the combination positions the company to deliver superior data quality and help the client unlock new resource potential in the Mediterranean.
