Innovapptive Launches FEE Score as Plant Backlogs Hit 12.1 Weeks

Houston – October 13, 2026 -- Median maintenance backlog across benchmarked plants reached 12.1 weeks against a 2-4 week norm, according to Innovapptive's new Frontline Execution Benchmark 2026, which accompanies the launch of a metric called Frontline Execution Effectiveness (FEE).

FEE is a single score from 0 to 100% that rates how quickly and how well a plant responds to every problem it detects. Innovapptive says it complements Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) rather than replacing it. The benchmark draws on operational walkthroughs of approximately 120 plants and sites across 22 organizations and seven industries.

FEE averages latency and resolution across every valid problem

The score combines two measures. Latency is the share of a problem's closure window the plant kept, from detection to verified closure. Resolution tests whether the fix held, with no repeat failure on the same asset within 90 days.

AppWork Launches AI Tool to Rewrite Technician Notes Instantly

Ramsey, N.J. – October 06, 2026 -- AppWork, a maintenance operations and risk management platform for multifamily property management, has launched Enriched Completion Notes, a new AppWork Intelligence capability that automatically rewrites technician Work Order completion notes into professional updates for residents and structured records for operators. The feature is live today for all AppWork clients at no additional cost.

Technicians' one-word notes get converted into full operational records

Technician completion notes are often written quickly on a phone between jobs, frequently reduced to a word or two such as "Fixed" or "Reset breaker." AppWork says this leaves Work Order history too thin to support reporting, repeat-issue detection, technician coaching, or documentation required for lawsuits, insurance, and warranty claims.

Lucid Deliveries Outpace Output in Q3 as Inventory Reset Continues

Newark, Calif. – October 06, 2026 -- Lucid Group delivered 3,806 vehicles in the third quarter of 2026 while producing only 2,954 units, as the electric vehicle maker pushed forward with an operating reset aimed at unlocking $1.4 billion in cash flow improvements this year.

Deliveries outpace production as Lucid clears existing vehicle stock

The gap between output and deliveries reflects a deliberate inventory drawdown, with Lucid converting previously built vehicles into customer deliveries rather than ramping new production. The company said demand for its Gravity model regained momentum during the quarter.

Omdia Study: Kaseya Users Cut IT Costs by Up to 33%

Miami – October 01, 2026 -- Managed service providers running Kaseya's unified IT platform save an average of $2,600 per technician per month, while internal IT teams save approximately $2,900 per staff member, according to a new independent study by Omdia.

PakEnergy Launches AI Tool Lifting Gas Well Revenue Up to 30%

Frisco, Texas – October 01, 2026 -- PakEnergy has launched OnPing Plunger, an AI-powered optimization system that has delivered revenue gains of 3.5% to 7% on already well-optimized gas wells and up to 30% on wells that were set conservatively and left unmonitored.

Pak AI continuously tunes plunger lift wells without adding staff

Plunger lift remains one of the cheapest methods to keep aging gas wells producing, but its returns depend on expert attention that operators cannot scale across every well. OnPing Plunger, powered by PakEnergy's Pak AI engine, learns each well's best historical runs and continuously compares actual performance against expected output, adjusting setpoints within an operator's existing automation and safety limits or flagging wells for human review.

Sonic Tools USA Launches Free Configurator for 163 Foam Modules

Auburn, Ala. – September 29, 2026 -- Sonic Tools USA has rolled out a free online configurator letting technicians build custom toolbox layouts from 163 Sonic Foam System (SFS) modules across five size categories, cutting toolbox setup guesswork for automotive, aviation and manufacturing crews.

Configurator maps 163 SFS modules across extra-small to extra-large drawers

The tool works drawer by drawer across Sonic's S-Series Toolboxes and boxes from other manufacturers, using exact drawer dimensions with drag-and-drop and rotation features so users can arrange modules like a puzzle. A utilization bar tracks available space in real time, while keyword search by SKU or foam size speeds selection.

Registered users can build and save multiple configurations, revisit them later, and export a finished layout as a PDF "Build Report" for procurement or internal records.
