Dallas – September 30, 2026 -- USA Bobsled/Skeleton (USABS), the sport's national governing body, has named The Uptown Agency as its agency of record, handing the Dallas-based firm control of strategic communications, media relations, brand storytelling and digital strategy through a full Olympic quadrennial.
Mandate runs through the 2029 World Championships and 2030 Winter Games
The scope covers local, regional, national and international media outreach, athlete and sponsor storytelling, social content and reputation management across the cycle, including the 2029 World Championships in Park City, Utah, and the 2030 Winter Games in France.
"Bobsled and skeleton athletes train for four years for a run that lasts under a minute," said Joseph Alexander, CEO of The Uptown Agency. "We are building a program that keeps these athletes and this organization visible between Games, not just during them."
New sliding season opens with Push Championships in Lake Placid
The partnership is already active as USABS enters its 2026-27 season. The 2026 USA Push Championships run Oct. 5-10 in Lake Placid, New York, the season's opening competition where hundredths of a second separate athletes testing speed and power after the offseason.
Agency creative for the campaign features hometown athlete Sam Allred of Plano. The Uptown Agency is also driving social content around Olympic bronze medalist Jasmine Jones and a brand partnership with Polar Seltzer.
Agency's roster spans NBA, MLB, MLS and NASCAR accounts
The Uptown Agency previously helped USABS launch its 50 States Strong campaign at the start of the 2026 Winter Olympics, which included a video voiced by actor Josh Lucas and a track produced by SHINDIG Music. The firm's sports communications client history includes work across the NBA, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer and NASCAR.
