Wand AI Adds Zeroport Hardware Layer to Secure AI Access on Air-Gapped Systems

Palo Alto, Calif. – September 13, 2026 -- Wand AI has integrated Zeroport's hardware-enforced access technology into its Sovereign AI offering, allowing government and critical infrastructure programs to deploy AI agents on air-gapped and segmented systems without creating a network route into them.

Zeroport's Fantom boundary eliminates IP-based access into protected systems

The joint architecture routes agent sessions through a sealed Fantom Core that carries no IP packet and terminates no network session. Only keystrokes and mouse input flow inward, while a display-only pixel stream flows outward, mirroring how a cleared human operator interacts with sensitive systems such as grid, water, defense, and core government estates.

Moativ enforcement runs on separate hardware the governed agent cannot reach

Inside the same appliance, Zeroport's on-device AI, Moativ, runs on NVIDIA Jetson Thor GPUs and reads every input and frame at the content level. It can alert, block, or physically sever a session that strays from its sanctioned intent, with policy held out of band on hardware the governed agent has no address for.

Zeroport cites two-thirds of cyber-attacks exploit remote access tooling

According to Zeroport, roughly two-thirds of cyber-attacks exploit remote access tooling and 80 percent of breaches involve stolen or compromised credentials. The company argues existing VPN, ZTNA, and PAM gateways narrow access routes but do not eliminate them, leaving paths that adversaries or compromised agents can enumerate and exploit.

Capacity scales by hardware appliance rather than network tunnel

Each appliance supports hundreds of concurrent sessions, with thousands possible per rack, according to the companies. Dedicated hardware pathways target sub-50-millisecond latency, intended to make the channel usable for live control work. All inspection occurs on-premises, with no session content leaving the rack.

Deployment is elective, layered atop Wand's existing governance stack

Wand's Adaptive Router dispatches agent sessions to a Fantom Core rather than an endpoint inside the protected network, while identity, authorization, and audit remain in Wand's governance layer. Rules are written in plain language, compiled into staged detectors, and dry-run against a program's session history before activation. Autonomy is set on a five-step dial ranging from observe to self-tune, with every action logged alongside supporting evidence.
