Zug, Switzerland – October 13, 2026 -- YES-EU, a Swiss-headquartered high-voltage battery service company, has opened a service center of more than 10,000 m2 in Oslo, Norway. The center was launched under a strategic partnership with NING Service, CATL's official aftermarket service brand. The hub will handle battery lifecycle management, hands-on training and certified repairs.
YES-EU targets 100 workshops in more than 20 countries
YES-EU plans to expand into more than 20 countries and build over 100 battery service workshops across Europe. It currently operates in Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Switzerland (headquarters), Belgium, the UK, Ireland, France, Kosovo, Poland and Lithuania. Its localization manufacturing base is in Italy.
YES-EU became CATL's first battery service partner in Europe in 2018. The cooperation started with service activities in Northern Europe and now covers battery service, lifecycle support and further development of service capabilities across the continent.
Component-level repair aims to cut costs for fleets and insurers
YES-EU offers warranty and out-of-warranty battery repairs with access to original OEM spare parts. Its customers include fleet operators, OEMs, leasing companies and insurance providers. The company services E-Buses, E-Trucks, passenger vehicles, marine applications and energy storage systems.
Through advanced diagnostics and component- and module-level repair, YES-EU says it can identify the affected part of a battery and, where technically possible, repair or replace only that component instead of the full pack. The company says this approach can significantly reduce repair and insurance costs, extend battery lifetime and cut material waste.
Team of 200 experts has completed 1,800 battery work orders
YES-EU's team of more than 200 New Energy Business experts has completed over 1,800 battery work orders. The company has logged 20,000 high-voltage service hours and commissioned more than 4,000 MWh.
Egzon Bajrami, COO of YES-EU group, said CATL contributes battery technology and a globally recognized brand, while YES-EU supplies local market knowledge, service infrastructure and operational capabilities.
Norway's 94% EV registration share drives Nordic focus
More than 2,000 CATL-powered E-Buses have been delivered and are operating across Europe, according to YES-EU Switzerland CEO Pierre Savoy. He said the Nordics are the focus because Norway is among the most advanced electric mobility markets, with EVs making up 94% of new vehicle registrations.
YES-EU also plans to launch a fully electric heavy-duty truck later this year, with battery capacity from 600 to 1,013 kWh. The truck is currently in testing and was developed with Nordic market requirements in mind.
