YFORE's UWB In-Cabin Monitoring System uses high-penetration pulse signals to detect micro-breathing rather than relying on cameras, avoiding optical line-of-sight limits. The company reported a life-detection rate above 99% while keeping signal leakage through windows under 20 centimeters, a measure meant to prevent false alerts from outside the cabin. The system meets Euro NCAP's response-time requirement of under 13 seconds. A separate UWB Occupant Detection System calculates multi-target spatial coordinates to report exact passenger counts for emergency eCall response, while YFORE's Occupant & Driver Monitoring System fuses radar data with smart vision mirrors to remove blind spots behind seats.
Kick-Sensing Liftgate Access Reaches 98% Activation, Cuts False Triggers to 0.5%
On the exterior, YFORE's Kick-Sensing Access system delivers hands-free liftgate opening with an activation rate above 98%, according to the company, while keeping false triggers below 0.5% during rain, car washes or animal movement near the vehicle. A separate Intrusion Detection function monitors side windows and liftgates, sending instant alerts when it detects unauthorized physical entry.
Sentry Mode Cameras Save Up to 2 kWh Nightly by Activating Only on Proximity Alert
YFORE's Low-Power Sentry Mode uses proximity radar to wake power-intensive security cameras only when a target approaches, rather than running them continuously. The company reported the approach can save up to 2 kWh per night compared with cameras left active overnight.
Bumper-Integrated Parking System Replaces Ultrasonic Sensors With Hidden Radar
YFORE's UWB Parking Assistance System identifies parallel, perpendicular and angled parking spaces while detecting low-profile obstacles and filtering out ground clutter. The radar operates behind bumper panels, removing the visible sensor cutouts typically required by ultrasonic parking systems and leaving a flush exterior.
